What are business gazelles ?

   It is one of the most popular lists of the most dynamically developing small and medium-sized companies. Business Gazelles are produced by economic dailies belonging to Bonnier publishing group. In Poland, the ranking has been prepared by "Puls Biznesu" daily since 2000. Similar lists are prepared by its counterparts from Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Slovenia. The aim is to promote small and medium-sized entrepreneurship.



In each edition of the ranking we examine the company's results for the full three preceding years.

The Business Gazelle title can be applied for by a company that meets all of the following criteria:

• started before 2017 and continues to do so today
• in the base year 2017, sales revenues were between PLN 3 and 200 million
• in 2017-2019 it recorded a year-on-year increase in revenue from sales
• in 2017-2019, did not record a loss even once
• enabled the analysis of its financial results from at least three of the audited years (by submitting financial statements to the courts, submitting data to Coface or making them available by completing the application form).

What are Business Cheetahs:

   "Business Cheetah" is the selection of the most dynamically developing companies according to the increase in their market value, calculated by comparison to listed companies, as well as, among others, promoting the most dynamically developing companies.

The methodology used in the Business Cheetahs Competition shows how much a company would be worth if its shares were listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

What is an Efficient Company:

  The National Competition "Effective Company" has been conducted since 2008 by the Institute of Modern Business based on the financial results of companies.

Among the thousands of Polish companies whose financial results were analysed by the Institute of Modern Business, where the average net profit to revenue ratio was at least 5%. The Effective Company awards. For nine years, the Effective Company Awards have been analyzing the financial results of over 70 thousand enterprises.

Strong Company Worthy Trusted:

  The title of Strong Trustworthy Company is awarded to the one which in a given year is also awarded in the Cheetahs of Business Competition and the Effective Company Competition.

Brylanty:

---

  Since 2008, the Institute of European Business has been organizing the Diamonds of the Polish Economy Competition on the basis of data from the National Court Register. This title is awarded to companies whose market value is, according to its estimates, more than PLN 10 million.

Based on financial data, the institute calculates the market value of companies in a very simplified way, using two indicators from the Warsaw Stock Exchange: C / Z, i.e. Price to Net Profit and C / Wk & ndash; Price to Accounting Value.
